Can you buy two individual health insurance plans? Can you have more than one Health Insurance Plan for your self?
I have to buy my own insurance, but even the best individual insurance is crappy and I wanted to now if people ever buy two insurance plans? The insurance i have now only lets me see the doctor twice a year. If I got another insurance plan would it pick up where the other left off?

I’m looking at individual health insurance plans for myself. I’m not pregnant yet, just looking at insurance in case my husband and I do decide to have a baby. I’m wondering if anyone knows, on the health insurance plan for myself (it’s a lifewise plan in Washington, if that matters) it says that Well Baby Care is just a 20% co-insurance pay (no deductible)… so does that mean if I had a baby I would pay 20% of the visit even if only I was insured? or does that imply I would by a separate insurance plan for my baby for him/her to be covered with the Well Baby Care?

We recently had a baby and I upgraded to a family plan to include both wife and baby. My wife’s employer will not allow her to withdraw from her individual plan for this life event…is this legal?

I am about to no longer be eligible for insurance under my parents’ health plan, but I need to be covered, especially for medications and mental health. I have had sever bouts of depression and other mental health issues that make it tough to work full time at the moment, and medications cost a lot even with good insurance coverage.

So how do I find insurance now? I’m concerned that I won’t qualify for purchasing a new policy because of ” pre-existing conditions”. I know a person needs to have been working with a company a while before qualifying for benefits there. And I don’t know that I’m in a bad enough place in terms of health that I’d qualify for overage dependent coverage.

How can I find health insurance? Any serious advice or stories about your personal experience will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I need to find health insurance that is a HMO in the state of Ohio. I want an HMO because I do NOT want a deductible. I just don’t make enough money to pay for insurance and then pay for my health care…that’s why I need insurance in the first place. I don’t care if I have a co-pay though.
Also, I am in good health and I don’t smoke or drink. I just need insurance for little things like seeing a doctor for an annual checkup/OB-GYN Type things. Dental would be nice though.
