He has no health insurance, and the surgery and treatment in US (which we prefer) will cost up to US$40K/year. I would appreciate very much any advice on whether he can still somehow obtain individual/family health insurance at this point, if so, how and what type should he get (PPO, POS, HMO, EPO, etc.)?
