Well, when you have a QUALIFYING EVENT, you can make changes to your plan, but I don’t think you can DROP it.
The employer doesn’t have ANY SAY in the matter – it’s all about the insurance company. I think she’s going to have to wait until open enrollment, unless she quits her job.
I know you have X amount of days to add someone when you get married or have a baby.
